Expected Student Learning Results (ESLRs)
These standards have been adopted by our school in our effort to educate "the whole child."

Effective communicators who:
  • EC1- Express themselves fluently using both oral and written communication.
  • EC2- Articulate and defend the Christian worldview while having a basic understanding of opposing worldviews.


Complex thinkers who:

  • CT1- Analyze, interpret, and evaluate significant concepts within various contexts.
  • CT2- Demonstrate technological literacy through the adaptation and utilization of technologies in all areas of life.
  • CT3- Find and utilize information in order to successfully solve problems and make decisions.

Literate individuals who:

  • LT1- Appreciate and have a foundational knowledge of literature and the arts and understand how they express and shape their beliefs and values.
  • LT2- Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of people, events, and movements in history (including church history) and the cultures of other peoples and places.

Self-directed learners who:

  • SD1- Have acquired study strategies and habits that foster academic achievement and spiritual growth.
  • SD2- Effectively identify and utilize a variety of resources to analyze and evaluate information.
  • SD3- Understand the components of physical health and make decisions contributing to a healthy lifestyle.

Community contributors who:

  • CC1- Embrace and practice justice, mercy, and peacemaking in family and society.
  • CC2- Value and respect persons of other races, cultures, and faiths.
  • CC3- Are willing to serve others as Christ directs throughout their lives.

Spiritually mature individuals who:

  • SM1- Recognize their worth as a unique creation of God.
  • SM2- Understand and commit to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • SM3- Know and understand the standards of Biblical morality.
  • SM4- Know and continually grow in the knowledge and understanding of God.
