Rebecca Gaul

Secondary Principal


Miss Gaul is ICS-P's High School Math teacher and the Secondary Assistant Principal. This is her seventh year at ICS-P and she teaches Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, and AP Calculus. She graduated from Asbury University in May 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education and from Cairn University in December 2019 with a Master's of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration. She received her teaching certificate from the state of New Hampshire to teach Mathematics for grades 8th - 12th.

Helen Lee

I have a Master’s degree from Ajou University Graduate School in TESOL. This is a tremendous privilege to be a member of a Christian School. I work here having a great passion to help the growth of ICS. I hope that everyone grows spiritually as well as physically a lot this year.

Susan Lee



I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Cheongju University. Recently, I received a Certificate of Completion for the General Accounting Program conducted by the Anseong City Hall. It has been my privilege to work at ICS-P since January 2016. It’s a great honor for me to work with other ICS-P staff within this Christian community. I hope that everyone can get a marvelous blessing from God and show God’s love and glory to others.

Tia Guinn

I haved worked at ICS-P for the past 8 years. I hold an Information Processing Diploma from Samsung. I am currently attending The Korean National Open University studying for a Bachelors in English Literature. I have 2 children attending ICSP.


Keller Thomas



Miss Thomas is originally from North Carolina and is excited to come to South Korea to teach Kindergarten. She graduated from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in Global Studies and a minor in Spanish and education. She then attended UNC-Chapel Hill again to receive her Masters in Teaching Elementary (K-6). Miss Thomas loves teaching because she gets to introduce her students to the world and spark their curiosity and imagination.

Amanda Brunker

1st Grade


Ms. Brunker was born and raised in Colorado. At ICSP she is the 1st-grade teacher and Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2020-2021 School year. Ms. Brunker graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Biblical Studies and eventually earned a TESOL certificate. This school year will be Ms. Brunker’s 18th year teaching. She taught various grades (Kindergarten through second) at several private and religious schools for five years before going overseas to teach at the International Christian School of Vienna in Vienna, Austria where she taught third grade for 4 years. Upon returning to Colorado, Ms. Brunker taught second grade at Patriot Elementary on the Fort Carson Army Post in Colorado Springs then went to a public charter school for the last 7 years where she taught 2nd grade. Ms. Brunker has a passion for helping each student she is blessed with to know that they are capable and so very loved.

Jennifer Caudle

2nd Grade


Miss Caudle is from Louisiana. She has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Ouachita Baptist University in 2010 and a M.A.T. in Elementary Educations with many classes in ELL from Dallas Baptist University in 2012. Miss Caudle has taught for 8 years. She taught for 3 years at Hinkson Christian Academy in Moscow, Russia, 2 years at Providence Classical Academy in Bossier City, Louisiana, and 3 years at Barkers Mill Elementary School in Clarksville, Tennessee. Miss Caudle has a heart for helping students love learning and sharing the Love of God.

Laura Copeland

4th Grade


I have a desire to help the future leaders of our world to love learning and to love people. I want to help all my students to succeed and to reach their goals. I feel that it is my obligation to teach my students to become independent thinkers and to be followers of truth.

MaKayla Lynn

5th Grade


Miss Lynn is from northwest Tennessee and lived in northwest Georgia for most of her childhood. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelors in Education. She has always had a passion and amazement for culture and diversity. Befriending and hosting Korean exchange students in university gave her the desire to study and eventually move to a foreign country. She has a passion for multicultural education and sharing the love and grace of God.

Middle School

Jonathan Edwards

MS Math/Science & MS Lead Teacher


Jonathan Edwards graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work and is currently working on his Masters degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Jonathan has his certificate to teach in Oklahoma. Jonathan enjoys teaching middle school students as they grow in their independence and responsibility in order to succeed in high school.

Michelle Hendrick

MS Social Studies & Bible


Miss Hendrick is originally from Florida near Orlando. She studied Secondary History Education at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia where she was able to study for a semester in Hong Kong. She taught English for a year in South Korea, taught high school social studies in Hawaii and Arizona and taught middle school social studies in Florida. She loves helping history come alive for students and is excited to be able to not only share her faith but teach her students more about God everyday.

Jason Lantz

MS English and PE Teacher


Mr. Lantz has been an educator for 14 years, and has taught in the US, Ghana, Turkey, and South Korea. He previously taught at ICS-P from 2010-2015, and is excited to return this year to continue teaching at our school. He has been married for 15 years, and has four children, two of whom were born in Korea.

Amy Engle

HS English


Ms. Engle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary English Education from Northern Arizona University in 2012, taught English, and directed a middle school drama club after-school program for 2 years. She has a first degree black belt in American Kenpo and has self-published 5 science fiction stories. In addition to being a teacher, she was a licensed massage therapist in the state of Arizona for 10 years.

Ryan C. Kolbe

HS Social Studies


Mr. Kolbe graduated from Taylor University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Studies Education. He currently holds a teaching license from the State of Arizona. From August of 2005 to June of 2009, Mr. Kolbe taught at the International Academy of Suriname in Suriname, South America. He currently in his tenth year at ICS-Pyeongtaek.

Barry Wolfer

HS Bible & Chaplain


Hailing from the temperate paradise known as Oregon, Mr. Wolfer feels right at home amidst the rice fields of Pyeongtaek. With a deep desire to learn the world around him, he also feels right at home studying the Bible alongside students. He desires to pursue God and truth and looks forward to continuing life's journey with the students at ICSP. Despite a lifetime of learning and studying, Mr. Wolfer has few things figured out, but rests contentedly in God's sovereign control.


Kevin Copeland

K-12 Music Teacher


I have been an avid musician since the 5th grade where I picked up the trumpet for band. I have enjoyed being a follower of Christ since an early age but was rebaptized January 7th, 2017 in Philippi, Greece. I look forward to the positive year the music program is going to have with the start of MS Band.

Laura Edwards

Student Support Coordinator


After graduating from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Laura moved to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala to teach kindergarten at Inter-American School, where she taught from 2008-2012. During her time there, Laura met Jonathan Edwards, and the two were married in the summer of 2011. Jonathan and Laura then moved to South Korea to work at International Christian School Pyeongtaek. Laura served as the school's kindergarten teacher and elementary lead teacher from 2012-2015 and worked part-time as a reading tutor during the 2015-2016 school year. Laura took several years off to stay home and care for her two small children, and she is excited to get back into the classroom this year as the Student Support Coordinator.

Paul Gary

IT Director & Computer/Technology Integration Teacher


Mr. Paul Gary grew up in Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Design Communication from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He has taught art for 6 years in Korea, and 7 years in Thailand. He loves to play guitar and sing worship songs. He has tremendously enjoyed being the IT Director this past year, and is excited to serve in that role again this year.

Rebekah Gary

Elementary Art


I have been teaching in Asia for 10 years and I have lived in Asia for 20 years. I have lived in South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. My experience includes elementary to high school both in academic courses as well as ELD. I have my BA in Political Science and a Degree in TESOL from SPU.

Ti Na Lee

Librarian & Korean Teacher


Mrs. Tina Lee grew up in Washington State and graduated from the University of Washington with her degree in General Asian Studies in 2004. After getting married, she went back to school to get her masters in Education and TESOL and graduated in 2012. She likes to read biographies and about history.

Young Song

Math/PE & Athletic Director


Mr. Song (Coach Song) was born in South Korea and moved to the US during 2nd grade. He grew up in Massachusetts and attended Boston University, where he received a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and a Master's in Education at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). Coach Song has over 12 years of teaching experience at various schools and has coached a wide range of sports. He is married with 3 children (Simon, Faith, and Lily). This will be Mr. Song's second year at ICS-P and he is looking forward to a wonderful, blessed school year.
