Expected Student Outcomes
At ICSP, we want our students to thrive. Our expected student outcomes (ESOs) are designed to cultivate strong Identity, Character, Scholarship, and Purpose in each of our students. Our classroom environments are safe and encouraging, allowing students to confidently express themselves and discover their unique strengths and passions.

Identity
- Students will understand that they are created in God’s image and are deeply loved and accepted by God.
- Students will understand their value and worth is not dependent on performance or achievement, but it is a free gift through faith.
- Students will understand they are part of a bigger family, a global community of believers - the Church. This is a family where they belong, are supported, and can contribute their unique gifts
Character

Students will demonstrate integrity and honesty, holding themselves to a high standard of behavior and accepting responsibility for their words and actions.
- Students will demonstrate kindness, compassion, and humility in their interactions with students, teachers, and community members.
- Students will demonstrate patience and perseverance, knowing that the struggles they face shape their character.
- Students will demonstrate wisdom in their choices, being aware of the context of their situation and the effects their words and actions may have.
Scholarship

Students will develop intellectual curiosity that leads to becoming a lifelong learner by exploring topics of interest, reading widely, and engaging with diverse perspectives.
- Students will develop critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information in order to make informed decisions as lifelong learners.
- Students will develop information literacy by learning how to find, evaluate, and use information effectively and with integrity.
- Students will develop a love for learning as a process, valuing the continuous journey of exploration, discovery, and growth rather than simply completely work to receive a grade.
Purpose
- Students will explore their unique gifting and passions, which can help guide them toward areas where they can make a meaningful contribution
- Students will explore different activities and opportunities that can help them discover what interests them or resonates with them.
- Students will explore ways to connect with others in order to contribute to something larger than themselves.
